Students in Sarah Harbour's second grade class recently studied the United States of America's national monuments.
They got to make a map of the monuments using food, including a chocolate bar for Kansas, licorice for the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers, blue frosting for the Gulf of Mexico and caramel chips to represent the Rocky Mountains. Yum!
